Sondra Rush, LPC
Therapist, EMDR
Hello! I believe all people have inherent worth and value and that each individual has the ability to change, learn, and grow. Through personal and professional experiences, I developed a passion and desire to journey alongside teens and adults struggling with identity issues, relational brokenness, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. My most recent experiences include providing compassionate care to men and women in a residential setting for eating disorder treatment and currently working at a private practice where I provide counseling services to individuals and couples.
I value a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to counseling and believe in treating the whole person (mind, body, spirit). I am passionate about integrating Christian faith and prayer into treatment when desired and draw from different evidence-based methods depending on your needs and personal goals.
Many people often feel overwhelmed and nervous when first engaging in a counseling relationship. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you are empowered to move at your own pace and know that you are not alone.

Rob Cooperider, LPC
Therapist
I believe that people want to grow, be heard, and have the most meaningful life and relationships that they can. I also believe that many people just aren’t sure how they got in their current situation and need some support to get out of the rut. I have been the client before and know how that feels to want something better, need support, and maybe even some guidance on how to develop a better life or circumstance. Sometimes, bad things happen and we need help to move forward.
I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University and the University of West Alabama, with a license in School Counseling. I also received my licensure counseling endorsement from Cleveland State University. My experience includes 17 years working in a partial-hospitalization setting with responsibilities that included severe behavior intervention, creating and implementing behavior and mental health plans, leading mental health programming, and crisis management/intervention. I also have worked as a school counselor for 7 years and will be resuming in this role for Lorain City Schools this year. I have worked the past two years for a state-funded fatherhood program as a fatherhood coach and case manager serving fathers in Lorain County, which has been very enlightening and satisfying.
My approach is person-centered and rests upon the relationship with the client. A few other approaches that I have found to be helpful are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused counseling. Most importantly, the client is the expert of their own experience and vision for their life, so working in collaboration with people to determine the focus and direction is at the center of what I do. I enjoy working with people of all ages, individuals and couples, and feel very comfortable with social/relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Additionally, I enjoy helping people to untangle complex issues to get to the source and identify the keys to moving forward.
My own personal experience not only includes a great deal of work with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and challenges, but also includes a great deal of exploring the world in order to know as much as I can about different ways of life. Having the experience of being in many cultures has not only allowed me to understand that the commonalities and differences of humankind are important and valuable.
Rob practices under the direct supervision of Heather Sniezek, LPCC-S.

Clare Beltran, LPC
Clare Beltran is a licensed therapist who earned her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University. Her goal is to help clients not only manage life’s difficulties but also rediscover hope and meaning along the way. As Carl Rogers once said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Clare believes in that paradox — and in each person’s capacity for growth, healing, and transformation.
In her work, she integrates Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Imago Relationship Therapy to meet each client where they are. This integrative approach allows her to adapt her work to each individual’s unique needs — whether that means using creativity and play tosupport a child’s emotional world, exploring patterns of thought and behavior, or helping individuals communicate with greater empathy and understanding.
She works with children, teens, and adults navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and autism. With deep respect for every person’s story, she strives to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they move toward greater clarity and confidence.
